Perrys (full name Perrys Motor Sales) is one of the UK’s longest running dealerships, originally formed in 1908. They have just over 40 showrooms and 3000 cars. They are actually only found in around 25 locations and so they’ll be bunching up some of their dealerships together. Their early franchise partner was Ford and throughout the 1980s they started to branch out with other automakers. Fiat, Peugeot and Vauxhall are a few examples. They are in fact the largest independent Peugeot dealer in the country and one of the largest dealers for Vauxhall. On the web you can check them out at www.perrys.co.uk. This website has took on a recent revamp.

The styling has been improved here and there is a neat saved search feature now in place. This chain hasn’t expanded to the extent as their key rivals, but they are progressing well. They have been picking up awards and have been posting turnovers close to £500 million. The group also employs 1500 staff. Perrys finance is an integral part of the company, but they don’t share much info on the ins and outs. Bad credit does look to be catered when you consider that they headline approving 9 out of 10 applications. There is a finance calculator provided, but this is where you enter your own interest. They only share their rates on request.

There are 0% deals available, but this will be on the very latest cars through select manufacturers (likely on Vauxhall’s Flexible Finance plan). The headed credit options are hire purchase and personal contract hire agreements on repayments up to 5 years (HP). Applications are securely processed directly through www.perrys.co.uk. No such lenders are named with them merely stating that an extensive panel is used (Update: Marsh is a lending partner). You can visit most of their showrooms 7 days a week. As an example on times, one such outlet was open from 9am, closing at 6.30pm throughout the week and 5pm on Saturdays. The Sunday time was 10.30am to 4.30pm.
