Ocean Finance Credit CardsThe Ocean Finance brand from Intelligent Lending that is part of The ThinkMoney Group. We previously introduced Ocean’s personal loans that are provided by R Raphael & Sons. The Ocean credit card joins this product on the same site at www.oceanfinance.co.uk. The lender for this MasterCard is Capital One. Whilst loans have made up the bulk of their business interests over the years, it is their card that is much more popular today. Its growth saw a huge spike when they turned to TV ad campaigning. Luma is another product that uses the same lender that also advertises to the nation. The interest rate here is however 34.9% (34.94%) whilst Luma is 1% higher at 35.9% (35.94%). Every other feature is matched.

The noted 34.9% rate is exactly the same that you pay for Capital One’s Classic. As the case there, the max limit here is £1500. When applying at www.oceanfinance.co.uk they’ll initially ask you to use QuickCheck before running through to complete the application. The applications will then be taken on by the lender. Ocean’s main support team can be reached between Monday and Thursday (9am/8pm) and Friday (9am/5.30pm). However, this is for general loan queries with contact for the cards being taken on by the provider. On that side they cut new application queries back to Monday to Friday (9am/5pm), but once you become a customer you can make account queries 24 hours a day (we believe this is 24/7).

Full Account Servicing and a mobile app can be used to then monitor your spending on the go. This broker isn’t one of the most well known intermediaries nationwide, but they are actively advertising in web search alongside the TV ads. This company was formed in 1991 that shows their business experience and they are also notable for their personal loans partner (R Raphael & Sons). They lend to those with low scores up to £5000 and there is no guarantor required to support the application. An interesting development for the 2016 year has seen ThinkMoney launch their own card. As before, this partnership has been put in place with Capital One.
