Notes: Covers Essex and select areas of London only. The company structure is unknown (Ltd, Plc etc). This lender’s FCA licence is yet to be renewed. In regards to the SSL issue, when landing on the site this won’t trigger itself. If you head into the application area and manually input HTTPS you will get a secure connection, but the page will become almost unreadable. It is not made clear if low credit scored applicants are taken on.

Noteworthy…
– Amounts: £1000 is accessible to all customers. The main limitation being that there is just the single repayment to choose from.
– Experience: Established by Alfred John Cockle way back in 1966. Over the years the business has passed down to new generations. Strangely, despite their long running history they have yet to expand outside of their local region. We would have expected this to already happened since their service has proved popular in their areas served.
– Pricing: The charge that calculates as 0.222% daily is one of the very top doorstep loan rates on the market. As with many of the cheapest services around, the issue of restricted coverage is in play here.
– Profile: Search engine data showed few brand related searches, but they are well known across Essex. This is evident from their social media following, as seen on Facebook with 4000 fans. We’d assume that many of these followers are proud local residents (rather than customers set up on contracts). We say this as there was an article on the CCA website that highlighted the firm having 2000 customers and attracting just several newcomers each week.
